Western Weekend

Ludlow, Shropshire

The Western Region weekend will again be based in Ludlow, Shropshire and if you’re a regular, you already know it’s the perfect base to explore the wonderful roads of Wales. There are many pubs, hotels, restaurants and fast food places in Ludlow to suit everyone’s tastes.

As last year, we’ll use the Wheatsheaf Inn, Lower Broad Street, for socialising (lots of drinking and eating). This is a real ale pub and maintains the Western Region weekend tradition of the availability of good thirst quenching beer.

For the ride out on Saturday, everyone should meet in the Leisure Centre Car Park from
9.30am. and the first group will move off for 10.00am.
Take the B4361 out of Ludlow as though heading to the A49 bypass. The Leisure Centre is
located within the road calming / hump area.

Ensure you have a full tank of fuel and you’ll need to go to Harry Tuffin’s supermarket
complex on the Ludlow bypass for petrol or ensure you have sufficient to take you to the
first stop on the ride out, which is about 90 miles.
